Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at Hope Women’s Center empowers women, men, and families with essential support and resources during challenging times. Volunteers provide compassionate care, guidance, and education, fostering informed decision-making. This service not only strengthens individual lives but also enhances community well-being, creating a network of empathy and assistance.

See our volunteer positions below:

Mentor (Both Men & Women)

Mentors are the volunteer facilitators in our Earn While You Learn program, a resource for parents. This is approximately a 3-hour-per-week commitment. You would be the primary point of contact for a client with children or expecting a child. This program provides education through a video curriculum and a relational component. You would meet 1-2 clients each week during a set time to both facilitate learning & get to know them. If this sounds like a ministry you would like to be involved in, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to learn more.

Volunteer (Cleaning)

If you enjoy cleaning, organizing, or preparing letters for mailing, we can use your help. This is an opportunity for someone who would like to come in for an hour or two each week to help, primarily with cleaning, and occasionally with administrative tasks. If you would like to help in this capacity, please get in touch with us, and we can fill you in on what we need help with at this time.

Volunteer (Pregnancy Tests/options educator)

If you would like to help provide “options education” for pregnancy tests. You will have an opportunity to sit with women and provide them with information regarding their pregnancy options. While also being a listening ear to ensure the best possible care is given. You would be scheduled for a specific time slot each week. Training will be provided before meeting with clients. If this is something you would like to help with, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us & we can get you more information.
